Connecting to the Grid

Every grid tied PV solution must be authorized for connection to the local utility. TSC/Solera helps our customers cut through the red tape by providing each customer with the appropriate documents pre-populated with their information.

Ontario Retail Sales tax Rebate

Both PV and SDHW systems are eligible for PST Rebates. See the attached Ministry of Finance Info Sheet for more information.

Standard Offer Program

Micro PV systems are eligible for the Standard Offer Program and Contracts. These 20 year contracts with the OPA and administered by the Local Distribution Company will pay 42 cents per kilowatt hour generated from a grid-tied PV system. See the attached SOC Contract for more information.

Net Metering

Grid tied PV solutions may register for Net Metering through their local distribution company, allowing them to store excess electricity on the grid for later retrieval and consumption within a cycle year. See attached Embedded Generation Form for more information.
